Seminyak is one of Bali’s most exclusive addresses simply because it offers the best of both worlds. Just two beaches north of Kuta, it is in close proximity to Bali’s most popular attractions yet a haven from the chaos of the high density tourist location.

Beach

Seminyak beach has escaped the scars of fast, largely unplanned development as is evident in Kuta, and become one of Bali’s most upmarket and sophisticated locations. The beach can only be accessed by local roads and is therefore less populated than Kuta resulting in a more tranquil seaside atmosphere.

Accessing the beach from Villa JaM is less than ten minutes walk through a charming field of rice paddies.

Shopping

Shopping in Seminyak is an unexpected pleasure. Quality is the order of the day here with a smorgasbord of upmarket boutiques, furniture, art and antique stores. But perhaps the most appealing aspect of shopping in Seminyak is the absence of persistent street vendors.

Restaurants

Villa JaM is situated in one of the most cosmopolitan locations in Seminyak. Within sight of the famous Eat Street, Laksmana, it takes literally one minute to walk to Bali’s top restaurants including Ku de Ta where you can enjoy modern fusion style food; Kafe Warisan where you can dine on French Mediterranean cuisine overlooking the restaurant’s rice paddies, which are lit up at sunset; or La Lucciola which overlooks Seminyak beach and captures the most amazing sunsets.

Safe neighbourhood

Due to its location outside of Bali’s main hub, Seminyak is a less exposed environment and is therefore more appealing to holidaying families and holiday makers who prefer not to be right in the thick of a chaotic tourist environment.

Villa JaM is a secure and tranquil environment in itself. Carved timber-gated walls surround the residence which is equipped with 24 hour security for peace of mind.
